Supporting your local doesn’t end at popping in for a pint.
It’s all about where the beer comes from, although craft beers and microbreweries are booming through the UK, it’s important not too forget classic real ale will always remain at the center of a pulicans heart.
This is why we’re proud to be joining CAMRA’s LocAle campaign, promising to consistently offer at least one (but usually two) locally sourced Ale.
It is a great source of pride for us here at The Weir to boast four ales on tap, of course we have our favourites Sharp's Doombar and Abbot Ale on in their permanent spots, but it is our new mission to keep two guest ales on consistently through the summer with (at least) one of them being provided locally.
As a small Free House, we feel it is important to support local consumers and work with all breweries big and small and ask our customers what they want to see more of.
